Environmental Management System Policy

Kredi Kayıt Bürosu follows a policy based on the Environmental Management System in all its activities.

Purpose

This document has been created to establish a framework to achieve the goals and objectives set for the establishment, operation and continuous improvement of the environmental management system within KKB within the scope specified in the EMS Scope Analysis document, to specify KKB's sensitivity and commitments to the environment, to announce this sensitivity and commitments to the relevant parties and to increase the environmental awareness of employees.

Scope

The “Environmental Policy” covers the policies, procedures, standards and all transactions and activities carried out within this scope, which form the basis of the concept of environmental management at KKB. The Environmental Policy also covers all units of KKB, third party users accessing KKB locations and service, software or hardware providers providing technical support to KKB infrastructure.

Responsible Parties

The roles and responsibilities established within the scope of the EMS are described in the “EMS Roles and Responsibilities Guide” document. Since the Environmental Policy must be accessible to all relevant parties, the responsibilities that third parties must comply with are defined separately below.

Third Party Responsibilities

Third parties are responsible for:

  • To work in accordance with the relevant EMS policies and procedures of the organization,
  • To convey the suggestions deemed necessary for the healthy functioning of the EMS to the relevant person,
  • To report environmental incidents, openings and violations to the institutional authorities,

Environmental Policy

In order to leave a more livable environment and sustainable natural resources for future generations by taking into account the effects of climate change in the provision of services provided by KKB, KKB Senior Management;

  • To comply with the legal regulations, legislative provisions and contracts related to the environment and to ensure their currency
  • To increase the use of renewable energy resources in service delivery processes
  • To use exhaustible natural resources with appropriate and efficient infrastructure
  • To reduce waste generated in service delivery processes and to implement appropriate disposal processes, to separate recyclable waste and to prevent environmental pollution
  • To ensure that business processes are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures prepared and approved within the scope of the environmental management system
  • To ensure the protection of the natural environment from environmental damage and degradation arising from its activities, products and services
  • To carry out trainings in order to increase environmental awareness and improve behavioral competencies,
  • To increase communication with authorities in order to adapt to the development and change in the field of environmental management,
  • It undertakes to establish, operate, increase the performance and continuously improve the Environmental Management System in a way to fulfill the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard and to provide the human, infrastructure, technology and financial resources needed for these.
